Stuart is one of the most well respected corporate finance advisors in the region, with over thirty years corporate finance experience.

Prior to jointly founding Isca Ventures, Stuart was responsible for establishing and directing Ernst & Young’s corporate finance lead advisory team in the south-west region. Before this role Stuart held senior positions within NatWest’s corporate team in the UK and US.

Stuart is currently a non-executive director for four businesses across the region with turnover ranging from £12m to £206m.

Guy is a well known regional corporate finance advisor, with a career incorporating ‘big-four’ and wider practice experience.  

Guy is a qualified chartered accountant and has twenty years corporate finance experience, including that gained with Ernst & Young's corporate finance team and, more latterly, as the partner responsible for corporate finance within a medium sized regional firm. 

He enjoys building long term relationships with owner managers and as lead adviser has managed transactions ranging in size from £1m to £100m.

Mark is an experienced corporate finance practitioner, with a ‘big four’, Plc and international background.

Mark qualified with Ernst & Young and held senior positions within their corporate finance teams in the UK and Australia. More latterly Mark has been part of three management buy-outs at a director level and has exited these businesses after a £24m company sale, £131m AIM stock market flotation and a £6m secondary buy-out.

Mark is currently a non-executive director for three businesses across the region.

Matt is an experienced corporate finance advisor who has advised on a number of the higher profile transactions across the region. 

Matt is a qualified accountant who trained with Ernst & Young, before heading up the corporate finance team at Target Chartered Accountants, which won several awards.  Matt has had a particular specialism in private equity backed transactions and working with retail businesses with extensive roll-out plans.

Matt is currently a non-executive director at four businesses across the region and has recently established a private equity fund.

Al is a business analyst and corporate finance advisor.

After a decade analysing and advising major corporates at a global investment bank, Al began working directly for a number of regional accountancy firms, corporate finance practices and private equity funds. He has worked with the boards of listed businesses and those undertaking an IPO, through to companies undergoing trade sales, raising finance and at a more entrepreneurial stage.

Peter is a qualified accountant whose corporate finance career spans both practice and industry.

Peter trained with Smith & Williamson before joining a Bath-based corporate finance advisory practice. Prior to joining Isca Ventures Peter was Group Finance Director of an acquisitive orthodontic group based in the South East.

Peter's primary transaction experience has been in the £5m to £50m range, including some of the regions most successful transactions, such as ISIS investment into Cablecom and the sale of Sherston Software to VSS.
